What it Takes

John Cread working on Touching the Wall
Putting together a so called "solo show" is anything but! Here is my co-worker, John Cread, who is working with me to take my maquette of Touching the Wall (there it is in the foreground) from mere inches into a 6' foot tall sculpture. The work is done now and the final version will be installed in Core Gallery come March.

John is one of many people who have helped me put together this show. They include the wonderful folks at Art and Soul Photography who shot my work, to Skip Holman who did my framing when needed, to Scott Mansfield who designed my post card, to all my supportive artist friends who've generously given their moral support and sharp insight, least among them my compatriots at Building C Studios, and the crew at Core Gallery who put together such a wonderful space to share and show art.  And, of course, my superman husband of many years, Dave. Yeah, solo show. Uh huh.
