Junko YamamotoAlso on October First Thursday, Small Voids, curated by Todd Janausch, will make its only Seattle appearance (it will be removed at the end of the evening). Small Voids is comprised of 100 12"x12" individually lighted plexiglass boxes or "mini galleries". Each box will contain a work of art from 100 different local artists. The installation will take place near the Tashiro Kaplan Building so keep your eyes peeled. Following Thursday's exhibition, Small Voids, will travel down the West Coast to Portland and Oakland.
Todd's projects are always interesting and expertly executed. His last project Gallery (206), was a phone booth turned gallery (yours truly was also included in this project), which sat in Occidental Square last summer and received many accolades.
