Dumb luck landed me in a studio across the hall from Robert Hardgrave. I am frequently inspired by the amount of creativity and work that is generated in about 300 square feet. Robert’s paintings and collages are amazing and unique. His collages are pieced together from discarded drawings and/or paintings that he felt weren’t up to his usual high standards. He cuts them up and reassembles them into new life forms. Just another example of destruction/construction.
