This is the piece from my Downtonw Series that I've donated to the Give Your Love to Haiti Fundraiser. Here's a reminder about what's going on:
WHAT: Art Sale / Haiti Fundraiser
WHEN: Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14th from 11am-6pm at my studio located at 3234 California Avenue SW in West Seattle. Anyone who would like to donate, contact Stephanie Hargrave at 206-227-5332 or stephhargrave@msn.com. Please forward this information to anyone who would like to buy fine art and help earthquake victims in Haiti at the same time.
ALL proceeds will go directly to Doctors Without Borders, Partners in Health, or Mercy Corps – the art buyers will write checks to these organizations directly. The goal is to raise several thousand dollars to send off by the end of the weekend.
On sale will be oil, acrylic, and encaustic paintings, mixed media works, ceramics, fine art photographs, jewelry, and more. It will be a great selection! At present, we have 32 artists donating their work, and I am personally overwhelmed by the generosity that has been pouring in. Many of these people are full time gallery artists, many are arts educators as well, and all are amazingly talented.
