Friend and local artist, Stephanie Hargrave, is hosting a fund-raiser to benefit Doctors Without Borders, Partners in Health and Mercy Corp and their work in Haiti. The sale will take place in Stephanie's studio in West Seattle. Local artists are lining up to donate art.
Here's how it will work: when you purchase art, rather than writing the check to the artist, you'll write one to one of the three charities. You'll leave your check with Stephanie, who will then mail the accumulated checks. What an excellent idea!
